This lady makes really cool (in my opinion) "damned dollies." I don't think Tony likes them very much. Here's the website.

This Reminds Me of Lisa
A few weekends ago Tony and I went to the Renegade Craft Fair in Brooklyn. We both had so much fun! I saw this tshirt and for some reason it really reminded me of Lisa. I don't know why. It doesn't look like Lisa, but it just made me say "Lisa!!!!!"

Thank You, Jeff
Dear Jeff,
Thank you for teaching my dear friend Emmy the art of sarcasm.
Emmy was never someone who appreciated (or understood) my sarcasm (I think I am too snarky at times). I would always get blank looks or simply get ignored and it was just too much effort to try to explain why something was funny. That makes things not funny.
And then today Emmy emailed me about something tacky. Except Emmy said, "how tactful, huh?" I responded, "you mean tactless" (because Emmy is also sometimes fobby). No, she said, she was being sarcastic. Emmy! Sarcastic! It's a beautiful thing!
See you soon!

My Weekend
Saturday
- Shopping at the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale while Tony was at the dentist.
- Experienced a nice slice of New Jersey culture when Tony took me to Seaside Heights AKA "Sleezeside" AKA "the Jersey Shore." You know when people from out of town come and visit and all they want to do is see Hollywood? And when you take them there, they are really disappointed because it's all dirty and there's nothing much to see? That was the Shore. I hear my coworkers get really excited about going to the Shore. Turns out it's a combination of a carnival (the boardwalk), carnival food (fried oreos, funnel cake, and salt water taffy), a dirty beach, and a bunch of gangsta high school kids hanging out. On the plus side: we found an arcade that had Paperboy and the Simpsons which I haven't played since I was a kid!
Sunday
- Wandered around a street fair.
- Serendipitously bumped into the Big Apple Barbecue Block Party and had some delicious ribs and pulled pork sandwich. Also won a water bottle from Snapple and sampled the new Coke with vitamins!
- Sold some books at Book Off!
- Did some spring cleaning.

Montreal
I owe you guys these pictures from our one year anniversary in Montreal. How ironic is it that I complained about the New York snow all winter and we "went away" to the snow. But there was a difference - the snow in Montreal is the snow you have in your dreams: light, fluffy, pretty. The snow in New York is gross.

It was the day before St. Patrick's Day and we were outside waiting for a parade but got a protest instead. We think it was about the war, but weren't really sure since they were speaking French.

Random house with pretty snow.
Poutine! Yum! They had these at every fast food type restaurant. It's french fries covered in curd cheddar cheese and gravy. Delicious!
Local (junk) food. Heehee! Rue Cypress!
