nyt article on tyra

there was a great article in the nyt sunday magazine about tyra banks. i didn't know that she really is cheap -- i thought it was all an act, like she was trying to be one of us or something. they also included a picture of tyra doing her "eyes." remember in the first few seasons of top model when she would tell people their eyes were dead? i do.

so i'm back (maybe)

i had lunch with matt and he has requested that i update the blog. he's right, i should. so we'll see how this goes.

we at at go! go! curry! which is a super delicious japanese curry restaurant. i ate there with meichih a long time ago, when i first moved out here and she said it would be a good idea to walk from my apartment to hers (not such a good idea). she probably doesn't remember.

we also stood outside parsons where the project runway people take smoke breaks and had a nice chat. it was so nice to catch up with my friend, matt!

i'll post a life update later, but just wanted to make a list of a few cool things that have happened this week:

- matt visited
- finally connected with lisa
- tony did three loads of laundry AND bought me flowers, all in one afternoon! xoxo!
- did a book binding class and made four super cute notebooks
